5’000㎡, drilling pad with three unused drill cellars completed with 20” conductors to 100m
Cased borehole to over 6’000m MD that can be repurposed for geothermal production or injection
Drilling pad adjacent to Kirchanschöring district heating network and industrial park with growing baseload heat demand.
Permit lies within planned regional heat network to deliver geothermal heat to the Chiemgau-Rupertiwinkel region.
Operator developing a ‘Green Energy Hub’ to include new sub-station and 10MWe BESS.
Long term heat offtake agreements in negotiation.
Project eligible for German Federal funding under the Efficient Heat Networks and Geothermal Exploration Initiative.
